AU Small Finance Bank is one of India's most distinctive credit card issuers - the first Small Finance Bank in India to launch its own credit card line, with over 9.9 lakh active credit cardholders as of May 2025. AU Bank's portfolio spans 13 cards, ranging from the fully customisable LIT card to premium metal cards like Zenith and Vetta, a dedicated professional card for Chartered Accountants, and FD-secured options for students and first-time credit users. AU Bank credit cards run on Visa and RuPay networks and are backed by the AU Rewardz loyalty programme. One important structural note: AU Bank follows a strict one-card-per-customer policy, meaning each customer can hold only one AU Bank credit card at a time - making the choice of card especially important upfront.
The AU Bank LIT Credit Card is AU's most innovative product and the clearest reason this hub page exists - it is genuinely the first fully customisable credit card in India. Rather than paying a fixed annual fee for a bundle of features you may not use, LIT lets cardholders choose their benefits every quarter - lounge access, OTT subscription discounts, airport pickup, insurance cover, or accelerated cashback categories - and pay only for what is selected.
The base LIT card is free - no joining fee, no mandatory annual fee - and cardholders earn 1 reward point per ₹100 spent, with an additional 5% cashback available on travel, dining, and grocery spends depending on the features selected for that quarter. Up to 4 complimentary lounge visits per quarter are available when the lounge feature is active, along with 3 months of free ZEE5, Amazon Prime, and Cult.fit membership as a welcome benefit.
This pay-for-what-you-use model makes LIT the strongest option for users who don't want to commit to a fixed annual fee structure, or whose spending priorities change throughout the year.
AU Bank organises its portfolio across five categories:
Because AU Bank issues only one credit card per customer, choosing the right card upfront matters more than with most banks.
AU Bank credit card eligibility by CIBIL tier: entry cards (Altura, Xcite) generally accept 650+; mid-premium cards (Altura Plus, Vetta) recommend 700+; Zenith and Zenith+ require 750+. NOMO requires no credit score at all. Most AU cards are not lifetime free by default, but annual fees are waived from the second year onward on spending ₹40,000 or more in the preceding card anniversary year.
Everything you need to know about AU Bank credit cards.
AU Bank credit card eligibility varies by card tier. Entry-level cards (Altura, Xcite) generally accept a CIBIL score of 650 or above. Mid-premium cards (Altura Plus, Vetta) recommend 700+. Premium cards (Zenith, Zenith+) require 750+. Applicants must be 18 years or above, salaried or self-employed with a stable income. For applicants with no credit history or low CIBIL score, the AU NOMO Credit Card requires no income proof or credit score - issued against a fixed deposit instead.
Most adults aged 18 and above with a stable source of income - salaried or self-employed - are eligible for at least one AU Bank credit card, given the breadth of AU's portfolio. Students aged 18+ with no income or credit history can apply for the FD-secured NOMO card. Government employees and select MNC employees receive lifetime free status on premium cards like Zenith and Vetta, which otherwise carry a joining fee. Note: AU Bank issues only one credit card per customer.
Check your AU Bank credit card eligibility online at au.bank.in by entering your mobile number, PAN, and basic income details for an instant pre-check. You can also use card24.ai to compare AU Bank cards and check eligibility for multiple cards in one place. The AU 0101 mobile app also displays pre-approved card offers if you are an existing AU Bank customer.
Most AU Bank credit cards offer airport lounge access, but not all. Cards with airport lounge access include Zenith, Zenith+, Vetta, SPONT, ABC Pro, and the ixigo AU Bank Credit Card - both domestic and international, depending on the card tier. The Altura Plus Credit Card offers railway lounge access only (2 visits per quarter), not airport lounge. The base Altura Credit Card and NOMO do not include any lounge access. Always check the specific card's terms, as some require a minimum quarterly spend (typically ₹20,000) to unlock lounge benefits.
The AU Bank Zenith and Zenith+ Credit Cards offer unlimited complimentary domestic and international airport lounge access with no spend condition. The Vetta, SPONT, ABC Pro, and ixigo AU Bank cards also offer airport lounge access, though some variants require a minimum spend of ₹20,000 in the preceding quarter to unlock the benefit. For guaranteed unconditional access, Zenith and Zenith+ are the strongest picks in AU's portfolio.
Redeem AU Bank credit card reward points through the AU Rewardz portal, accessible via au.bank.in or the AU 0101 mobile app. Points can be redeemed for flight and hotel bookings (1 reward point = ₹0.25), brand vouchers, and merchandise from the AU Rewardz catalogue. The LIT card allows redemption flexibility tied to whichever cashback or reward feature is active that quarter. Note that a reward redemption processing fee may apply on some card variants - verify current terms at au.bank.in.
AU Bank credit card reward points are generally valued at 1 reward point = ₹0.25 when redeemed for flight or hotel bookings through AU Rewardz. Reward earn rates vary significantly by card - the Zenith Credit Card offers the highest value-back in AU's portfolio at up to 5%, while Zenith+ offers up to 2% despite its higher annual fee (compensated by stronger travel benefits like 0.99% forex markup). The Vetta card earns 10 reward points per ₹100 spent. The LIT card earns 1 reward point per ₹100 plus up to 5% cashback on selected quarterly categories.
Apply for an AU Bank credit card online at au.bank.in or via card24.ai. Compare available cards, check eligibility, select your preferred card, and complete the digital application form with PAN, Aadhaar, and income details. Existing AU Bank customers may see pre-approved offers directly in the AU 0101 app. Remember that AU Bank issues only one credit card per customer, so choose carefully before applying.
Standard documents required for an AU Bank credit card: PAN card, Aadhaar card or other government-approved address proof, recent passport-sized photograph, and income proof (salary slips for the last 3 months, or Form 16/ITR for self-employed applicants). For the FD-secured NOMO card, income proof is not required - only the fixed deposit documentation and basic KYC (PAN and Aadhaar) are needed.
AU Bank credit card approval typically takes 5–10 working days after document submission and verification, though instant in-principle approval is often available online for digitally KYC-verified applicants. The FD-secured NOMO card generally has the fastest approval timeline since it does not require income-based credit assessment - approval is largely tied to FD processing, which can be completed within 1–3 working days in many cases.
